To begin with, the world has become a global village through the use of technology. Technology has affected all aspects of our lives even our culture. In this blog, I will briefly talk about some Negative Impacts of Western Culture on African Indigenous Culture.

Indigenous Culture.
1. Loss of African Indigenous Food.
2. Loss of African Indigenous Costumes
3. Loss
of African indigenous Dialect

5. Loss of African Indigenous Music and Dance.
1. Loss of African Indigenous Food: These days most Africans prefer foreign food to African Indigenous food, people no eat the "AKple with Okro soup" "Fufu with light soup" Eba with Egusi Soup" But people prefer to eat the foreign food such the "pizza" "Hot Dogs" "Burger" and others.

3. Loss of African Indigenous dialects/Languages such as Akan, Ewe, Ga, Dagaare, Dagbani, Swahili, Yoruba, and Igbo. The cause root of this problem was, that our educational systems in Africa have adopted the use of Western Languages such as English Language, French Language, Spanish Language and others in teaching and learning in schools. After school, most students have become used to the western languages and they feel ashamed speaking their Local Languages.
4 In African Societies, names are regarded as a means of identity. And even in some societies, is a source of protection for that particular individual. The African indigenous names have lost its values to Western names. Even in some African societies, some names are given out by the gods of that particular community.
5. In conclusion, African music and dance have lost their values totally to western music and dance, in the sense that most African youths are not willing to sing and dance to the African indigenous songs. Even playing the Western music has become common among the youths in most African societies.
